The Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS) Challenge Course is specifically designed for experienced providers seeking to leverage their prior knowledge and skills to expedite their certification process. This streamlined option allows participants to save time while reaffirming their expertise in critical life-saving techniques.

Experienced providers can capitalize on their past training and practical experiences, bypassing traditional classroom hours.

Eligibility:

• Current BLS Certificate Holders: Participant must hold a valid Basic Life Support certificate from the American Red Cross or American Heart Association.  Successfully passing the challenge will extend the validity of their certificate by 2 years.

Important Information:

• Course Fees: All course fees are non-refundable and non-transferable to other courses. 
• Reassessment Opportunity: Participants who do not pass the challenge should consider enrolling in a full BLS course to fully prepare for certification and enhance their life-saving skills.

Course Location and Schedule:

• Red Cross Challenge Courses can be taken in one of our Training Sites and are scheduled upon request.  Appointments are taken Monday through Friday between the hours of 7am and 4pm.
• Red Cross Challenge Courses can be completed remotely from your house by connecting with our instructor in Google Meets.  A CPR Equipment Package is shipped to you so you can participate in the program.

After registration, our Training Coordinator will connect with you directly to confirm your date and time.
